Mixology: Moscow Mule

A great way to start the new year – refreshing, spicy, and great to share with friends. The Moscow Mule is actually not of Russian origin but American. The drink was concocted primarily as an effort to support the then lagging vodka and ginger beer markets circa 1950. Add to that a unique (and actually quite hard to find) copper mug, and the drink was an instant hit. The drink has faded into some obscurity due mainly do to the rarity of ginger beer and the copper mugs, but you can still find them if you are diligent.
